my modcloth order came!

overall I am really happy with the order! sorry for the lame cell phone mirror photos!

I just placed my first order from modcloth.com in a while. I still had a $50 gift certificate that my mother gave me for my birthday last month, and a collection of ever-growing wishlists. And of course, the never-satisfied desire for cute things. I got on modcloth to find that the Retro Rosie Necklace and Raspberry Iced Tea Dress were back in stock. I placed them in my cart and then decided to take a (out of character, might I add) risk, by deciding to buy the Show Up Stylish Dress even though it doesn’t have a single review.
After my gift certificate, it cost $57.97, with no shipping because I spent so much haha. Can’t wait to get my new pretty things! I will post pictures when I get them. :]

I’m wearing my favorite dress today!

I mean, really though… how perfect is this dress?

I bought it off modcloth about a year ago. It was called the Scalloped Sea Dress, but they don’t sell it anymore. It is a little short, I can’t bend over in public in it haha and the top of the side zipper is a little itchy, but its pretty much perfect. I feel beautiful in it :]

…also… it gives me some cleavage! did I mention that it’s perfect?!

the swimsuit arrived! I’m in love!

Retro Swimsuit

So, as I’m sure you have all gleaned from my previous posts, I adore Modcloth.com. I check it daily and have spent more money than I am proud to admit on its wares. One of Modcloth’s featured styles lately has been their to die for retro swimsuits. However, the cheapest one is about $50 and if you are looking for a two-piece, that adds up to more like $80-$100. In other words, spending as much as I spent on prom dresses on bathing suits, which I just couldn’t justify. So I started to seek retro-inspired swimsuits at other stores for lower prices and came upon this beauty on Target.

Not only is it retro-inspired, it also has an underwire halter top (YAY I CAN LOOK LIKE I HAVE BOOBS), it is my two favorite colors, and IT IS EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE! Sure, I have like no money left on my debit card now, but hey. It looks like it will be well worth it. Now I am motivated to keep exercising and eat healthier!

Shopping Trip

I was at the mall today and bought the following.

These two pairs of jeans at Forever 21, for $10.50 a piece.

This blouse in a very light rose pink, also at Forever 21 for $9.90 on sale!

and these cute simple white flats at Payless for $16.99!

I also got one of those rubber things to attach a Bath and Body Works mini Hand Sanitizer to a purse, and bought new Hand Sanitizers on a 5 for $5 sale they are having. I got two in Sweet Pea, two in Warm Vanilla Sugar, and one in  Fresh Picked Strawberry.

Spring has sprung, everyone! Let’s celebrate with shopping! :o

New Dress!

Today I bought this dress at Kohl’s. You can buy it online here.

Below is a styleboard I made of how I plan on wearing it. My tan suede boots or my white leather wedges (both from past summers at Payless), a wide brown belt with cutouts and studs (Charlotte Russe), and my white lace cardigan from Forever 21.

please excuse the messy changing room, the tag and hanger ribbon from the right sleeve and my denim Keds, they are cute but they don’t match. Anyway, hope everyone had a good Monday!

my outfit today!
shoes are super comfy dark brown mocassins that i got at payless years ago. spandex black leggings were a hand-me-down. the dress is from modcloth (shocking, i know.) it was called the real taupe tapper dress, but i think it might have been removed from the site by now. the cardigan is from kohl’s last fall.
hope everyone is having a good wednesday!
